We know that returning to work is an important part of your recovery, because having a career helps give us purpose, identity, and financial independence.

Our programs include employability assessments, individualized work readiness programs, and community integration, so people are ready for employment. From there, we provide individualized job placement, return-to-work assistance with the person’s employer, and on-the-job coaching.

Participants are able to identify individualized career options, enhance their skill sets, and develop accommodations that promote success in the workplace. Additionally, our Return to Work professionals are dedicated to developing relationships with employers by providing education to ensure a smooth transition to work for the employee and employer.

01Return to Work Evaluation
02Situational Assessment

A Return to Work Evaluation determines a person’s ability to successfully return to competitive employment and the rehabilitation plan to get them there. This includes:

  • Complete job and education history review
  • Medical records review
  • Assessment of work readiness
  • Vocational interest and abilities testing
  • Comprehensive report with analysis of findings

The situational assessment determines a person’s potential for returning to competitive or supported employment using actual work activities or work samples specific to the participant’s employment situation or interests. Assessment results are presented in a comprehensive report identifying the participant’s strengths, challenges, and work potential.

Career Planning and Job Placement

With the goal of helping individuals identify and enter a rewarding career, we evaluate a person’s interests, abilities, motivation, and aptitude. Participants work with a specialist during all phases of seeking and securing employment, including initial career counseling and exploration, writing resumes and cover letters, interview skills, coordinating transportation, and job coaching support.

Our professional job coaches are able to provide assistance with:

  • Job performance and social skills
  • Collaboration with the employer to promote employee success
  • Development of accommodations
  • Organizational techniques and workload management
